FOP applauds Chicago Cubs for Law Enforcement Appreciation Night on May 11 at Wrigley Field > ILFOP
CHICAGO – The men and women in blue will switch to a slightly different shade, Cub blue, during the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Night Wednesday, May 11 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) applauds the Cubs organization for hosting this special night.

“In law enforcement and in baseball, the winning team wears blue,” said Illinois FOP State Lodge President Chris Southwood. “We appreciate what the Chicago Cubs are doing to recognize the men and women in law enforcement who go to bat for the residents of their communities 24 hours a day.”

Law Enforcement Appreciation Night recognizes all local, state, and federal law enforcement officers, corrections officers, sheriffs deputies, sworn and non-sworn employees, family members, friends, and anyone who supports and honors law enforcement. Ticket holders for the game between the Cubs and San Diego Padres will receive a Chicago Cubs Law Enforcement baseball hat, and each ticket purchased for that night includes a $3 donation to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
