Recipients are selected by an awards committee, comprised of ILFOP members, who are charged with reviewing peer nominations. The ILFOP Awards Committee has the responsibility to review all award nominations and approve or disapprove them. If disapproved, the ILFOP will draft a letter to the nominee recognizing the nomination and informing the nominee of the result.
