The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police License Plates help support grants for the ILFOP to increase the efficiency and professionalism of law enforcement officers in the state, educate the public about law enforcement issues, create partnerships with the public, and honor the service of law enforcement officers dedicated to the protection of life and property. ILFOP license plates are available to ILFOP members in good standing. Associate members are NOT eligible for ILFOP license plates.

The ILFOP License Plates are multi-year and may be displayed on passenger vehicles, B-trucks, and vans weighing 8,000 pounds or less. Vanity plates (letters OR numbers) and Personalized plates (letters AND numbers) are available. To order ILFOP license plates, please complete the following steps:

• Complete the Application and Affirmation Packet
• Send application, affirmation, and full payment (see SOS Fee Schedule) to:

• Checks should be made payable to: Illinois Secretary of State
• Once the application, affirmation, and payment are received by the State Lodge, staff will verify that the applicant is a ILFOP member in good standing, sign the affirmation, and forward all necessary paperwork to the Illinois Secretary of State.
• Incomplete applications and those sent without full payment will not be processed.
